Restoring Default Settings

Restore Default

  1. Close TeXStudio if it’s running.

  2. Delete the texstudio.ini settings file.

Replace Settings

  1. Delete the texstudio.ini settings file.

  2. Place your own texstudio.ini

Command-line Option

With --ini-file <Path> you can specify
a different path for your settings file.

If this path doesn’t exist, TeXStudio will temporarily use the
default settings without modifying your normal settings.
